Data from China’s National Health Commission shows that as of midnight Thursday, there remained 70 confirmed Covid-19 cases on the Chinese mainland.

A study published in academic journal Nature earlier this month says that China may have prevented a far worse situation with its aggressive response including intercity traffic restrictions, early testing, and monitoring of possible patients.
